We’re starting small… but with a big vision.

January 19, 2009

If you’re browsing through this site now, you have probably read our President’s exclusive interview with TODAY or some of the committee members’ personal blogs. I know, some of you may be wondering about our official website. Don’t we have one?

The truth is, yes, we do have an upcoming official website. Just like any other non-profit organizations, we rely heavily on external help and collaboration to get things moving. At this point, the official website is still being designed and constructed. In fact, it will be constructed in stages. For this, we are extremely grateful that there are very kind bloggers volunteering their time to assist us. And this is the kind of spirit we would like to build between bloggers.

Meanwhile, this temporary site will serve as a central point of contact for anyone whom would like to get in touch with us. Isn’t this better than having to hunt around for the respective committee members? Don’t be afraid to send us a note through the contact form. We don’t bite.

You would have also realized that we have provided very little information in this site. We have to apologize for that but we will be thankful if you could give us some time. Be assured, you will see more information over time until the official website is up and running. A hint for you though, there are some pretty interesting ideas the committee brainstormed for the website. Or, can I say it’s more than a website?

Curious? This is not a horror movie but a little suspense should be fun. Stay with us and check back often for updates. You’re definitely the first person to know!
